PROPEL-THE WORKSHOP FOR TOPPERS & PARENTS

• This is a 30 minutes duration containing 30 questions from Maths,Physics,Chemistry and General
  knowledge and will be of objective nature.

• A letter addressed to school heads along with necessary details reached the schools in advance and
  Computer.

• The venue for this TALENT SEARCH TEST was the school itself.

• The school supervisors instructed to strictly adhere to examination norms.

• The test was conducted simultaneously in all the sections.

• The school also nominated a coordinator at their end as a one point contact.

• Computer aided evaluation using Mark Sense Reader was done and the mark list sent to the school
  heads of all participating schools.

• The winners in each category will be awarded cash prizes of Rs.5000, Rs.2500 and Rs.1000/- as
  FIRST, SECOND and THIRD respectively and their schools will receive shields during the Propel
  Workshop which is Stage 2

• Based on the performance in the Talent Test and depending on the strength of the school, invitations
  were sent to schools with the list of selected participants. The students are to be accompanied by 2
  teachers from each school (who have been given Mentor Pass) to attend PROPEL - The Workshop

• The workshop will focus on identifying and developing interest areas of the participants and
  suggestions and means of pursuing those interests to achieve their goals.

• Sessions will be rendered by top level academicians and specialists.

• The programme content will include demonstrative multi-media presentations and interactive sessions
  of concepts and fundamentals in Maths and Science . The content of the workshop will also be given
  to students in an attractive booklet.

             WORKSHOP FOR PARENTS - Afternoon Session 08


• The parents are most at cross roads when it comes to dealing with their dear children's academic future.Anxiety,concern,dreams to be cherished,uncertainty about their ward's attitude are a few of the issues parents are confronted with.

• This session will address all the above issues in a simple style and render absolute comfort to the parents so that they actively contribute to their ward's progress.

• The workshop will expose to the parents the psychological status of adolescents,ways of developing and maintaining adequate intimacy with their children,imparting total confidence in them on their success and ensuring development of a healthy mind in a sound body.

• Student Psychologists and soft skill experts will be the resource persons.The demonstration session will be followed by interactive and Q&A sessions.
